This recipe is great either grilled or baked. Pair it up with sauteed spinach, corn on the cob and wild & brown rice pilaf. Enjoy!!
- 4 salmon fillets or salmon steaks
- 5 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 6-7 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 4 scallions finely chopped (green and white parts)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 2-3 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- splash of sesame oil
Combine all ingredients above and marinate the salmon for 6-8 hrs. Grill the salmon and baste with the marinade till the salmon flakes easily. About 4 minutes on each side
If you prefer to bake it, bake in the marinade uncovered at 350° till salmon flakes easily with a fork. About 20-25 minutes.
